Safety & Quality Control

The E.S. Fox Limited Quality Assurance/Quality Control Department is responsible for ensuring that our Quality Management System (meeting the requirements of CSA N286-12 and CSA N299.1, as well as CSA N285.0 and Conventional Code requirements) is effectively implemented for all Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities. Our QA/QC Department is responsible for all activities completed in accordance with all applicable Code, Jurisdictional and specified Technical Requirements. This is achieved through the preparation and completion of Inspection & Test Plans; monitoring and acceptance of Special Processes in accordance with procedures (including Welding, Non-Destructive Examination and Heat Treatment); Qualification and Approval of Suppliers and Source Surveillance of their activities; interfacing with Owner Quality Management and Jurisdictional Authorities.

Nuclear Fabrication

E.S. Fox Limited Nuclear Services has Professional Engineers at the Port Robinson Fabrication facility who perform Pressure Boundary and non-pressure boundary equipment design for fabrication. We have completed designs on nuclear class and non-nuclear class projects for various equipment and components. This includes full production of Professional Engineering fabrication drawings and any associated calculations/analysis. Our fabrication facilities include a specialized Weld Engineer on the premises to review all welding details and provide welding procedures.

Project Management

E.S Fox Limited’s Nuclear Services includes a Project Management Office with a suite of best practices focused on our clients. We have offices on client properties at Darlington Nuclear Generating Station (DNGS), Bruce Power, and the Pickering Nuclear Generation Station (PNGS). On-site offices ensure efficient client communication and a strong leadership field presence to oversee project execution. Our comprehensive project management software provides our project team with critical data in near real time on: - Cost Management - Schedule Management - Change Management - Risk Management - Earned Value Tracking With a foundation of Nuclear project management experience dating back to the opening of the earliest nuclear site in Canada, E.S. FL is equipped with decades of project management lessons learned to provide unique solutions to our client’s needs.

Through decades of working in the nuclear industry, we have developed industry-leading procedures used to provide our clients with the highest quality EPC services. We have vast experience in the Nuclear Protected Area, executing hundreds of projects from start to finish.
